EA Games took a pretty big chance when it re-tuned the venerable Need for Speed franchise to capitalize on the currently hipper-than-thou meme of illegal street racing. It paid off, though, big time, as Need for Speed: Underground was widely hailed as one of the best racing games of 2003 as well as a quantum leap forward for the Need for Speed franchise.

What if they dropped the Need for Speed title, and instead made their spin-offs into individual franchises; Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 4: Re-enlisted Need for Speed: Underground 3: Revenge of the Kei Cars Need for Speed: The Run 2 They've technically done this with the Shift series. It went from Need for Speed: Shift to Shift 2: Unleashed. Would also be cool if the PS4 had backwards compatibility. NFSU2 graphics are way better than Carbon IMO. Carbon's lightning is meant to be more realistic but i think it makes the textures, colors and reflections look worse than it is. Carbon's reflections have something really odd about them.

Underground 2 is a way better game than the first one, there's tons of more content, the graphics are better, handling is better, deeper customization, etc. The first one isn't bad just fairly bare bones compared to the 2nd. Racing games I feel are must haves (street racing) ~. Juiced. The Fast and the Furious.
