The Fujinon XF 18mm f/2 R was one of the original three lenses released with the X-Pro 1 back in 2012. They were compact, bright, and sharp lenses. Lens Review: Fujinon XF 18mm f/2 R. The Fujinon XF 18mm f/2 R lens is the strange case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. This is a lens that I want to love because of its small size and very useful focal-length, but I don’t love it because its way overpriced and has a disappointing focus system.
Fujinon XF 18mm f/2 R: The older lens has a maximum aperture of f/2, which is still considered reasonably wide but less light-gathering than the f/1.4 aperture of the newer model. It canIf you’re going to be taking more photos of people, the 18mm f2 is the better lens as it has better separation and is slightly tighter. If you’re wanting a walk around lens to take pictures of scenes and buildings, the 16mm f2.8 is better. You’ve also got to factor in the 16mm is the better made lens and isn’t clunky like the old Fuji9e7tlqw.
